Robinhood Legend Review: Is It Good Enough for Active Traders?

Robinhood Legend is Robinhood's free advanced trading platform, and it closes most of the gap with other brokers' desktop tools. It runs in your web browser, uses the same account as the app, and adds multi-chart layouts, more than 50 technical indicators and faster order entry. It still trails Thinkorswim on depth.

• More than 50 indicators on charts, against a handful in the mobile app.
• Trading from the chart and a price ladder.

What it costs

Legend itself is free. Normal Robinhood pricing applies: $0 on stocks, ETFs and stock options. Crypto is the exception: orders placed through Legend use exchange routing and pay a maker/taker fee of up to 0.95% for new traders, against no commission on the app's default routing. Legend vs Thinkorswim and Webull

Thinkorswim remains the deeper platform. Legend's strength is that it's simpler to learn and uses the account you already have.

Who should use it

• Yes: Robinhood users who've outgrown the app's charts and want to analyse before they trade.
• Not yet: true beginners. Buying index funds doesn't need Legend.
